How to root Samsung Vibrant

Samsung is the leading player in the global mobile market. The company has a long lineup of smart phones, which range from the premium to the low priced. The Samsung Vibrant is the T-Mobile USA version of Samsung Galaxy S. It has a 4’’ super amoled screen and runs 1GHz Hummingbird processor. The device support 32GB of memory and has a 5MP camera with LED flash, digital zoom and autofocus. The camera also allows recording of HD videos.

Similar to other Android devices, the device is shipped by OEM’s in locked version where the buyer only gets “guest access”, which limits the user’s control over the device. For example, the owner is powerless to remove pre installed apps. Rooting gives super user access to the owner, allowing complete control of the device by the user.
