Android apps marketplace now popularly known as the Google Play
has seen a lot of activity over the years. The Play application store is
growing in length and breadths i.e. apps are growing both in terms of functionality
as well as usability.
As part of the growing trend, Bump has launched a new handy
wireless data sharing software application for the Google Play store. The app
is also available at the iOS platform also. The app allows people to transfer data
between two phones by simply bumping one with the other. The Bump Android app
allows users to transfer contacts, photos and even app recommendations among
devices which had Bump installed on them. All one has to do is just simply
tap/bump two Android/iOS devices with Bump installed on them and the data will
be moved between them.
In the latest update, the company has launched new updates
for their app. The app now allows direct photo transfer to PCs. Therefore there
is no need to physically connect the Android smart phone or tablet with the PC for
image transfer. All one has to do is to open the http://bu.mp website on the PC.
Then open the Bump on Android app and after selecting the photos which need to
be transferred gently bump the phone on the keyboard's spacebar of PC.
Currently this method works on Safari, Chrome and Firefox web browsers.
This is one novel way to transfer your photos from phone to
the web directly. Get the Bump for Android app from the Google Play Store. The app can be downloaded from here for desktop.
